Earthwise Waste Solutions
1. Safety First
At Earthwise Waste Solutions, safety is our priority. When using or filling our bins, we strongly advise wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. PPE is essential for handling waste safely and effectively, reducing risks, and ensuring a secure waste management experience.
2. Standard Hire Period of Skip Bins
The standard hire period is 7 days unless otherwise arranged. Extensions beyond 7 days are possible, but additional fees apply. For early collection, please provide reasonable notice. While there’s no extra charge for early pickup, partial refunds for unused days are not available.
3. Pricing
Pricing is displayed on our website and includes GST. Charges may vary for delivery outside the Whitsundays area or for bins containing specific waste types. If in doubt about pricing or special requirements, please call us for clarification before confirming your booking. Additional charges may apply if the bin contents breach our terms upon collection.
4. Payment and Cancellation
Payment is due at the time of delivery or by credit card in advance, unless prior arrangements are made. Cancellations require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to avoid a cancellation fee. Refunds for cancellations within this period may be subject to processing fees.
5. Prohibited Waste
Our bins are intended for general waste and specific types of permissible waste only. The following materials are strictly prohibited:
- Hazardous materials (e.g., asbestos, chemicals, toxic substances)
- Medical waste
- Batteries and electronic waste (unless specified otherwise)
- Liquids (e.g., oil, paint, chemicals)
Customers found to have disposed of prohibited items may incur additional charges and penalties. If unsure, please contact us to confirm acceptable materials.
6. Bin Loading and Usage Guidelines*
To ensure safe transport, waste should not exceed the rim of the bin. Overloaded bins are a hazard and against OHS and may require additional fees if deemed unsafe to transport. Misuse of bins, including loading prohibited items, may result in extra charges.
7. Bin Placement and Accessibility
Bins are placed on-site in a location agreed upon with the customer. It’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure that there is clear access for delivery and collection. Earthwise Waste Solutions will not be liable for damages caused to property if we are instructed to place bins in a specific area with limited access.
8. Liability
Earthwise Waste Solutions is not responsible for any injury, damage, or liability arising from the misuse or overloading of bins. By hiring our bins, customers agree to use them responsibly and comply with all local laws and regulations.
9. Damages to Bins
Customers are liable for any damage to the bins while on their premises. Bins should not be moved once placed by Earthwise Waste Solutions. Damaged bins may result in repair or replacement fees, which will be charged to the customer.
10. Changes to Terms
Earthwise Waste Solutions reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updates will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services implies acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Ownership and Access Rights
All skip bins provided by Earthwise Waste Solutions remain the sole property of Earthwise Waste Solutions. We reserve the right to access and retrieve our bins at any time, by any reasonable means necessary, including when collection is due or in cases of non-compliance with these Terms and Conditions. By hiring our bins, customers agree not to obstruct or prevent access to the bins by Earthwise Waste Solutions personnel.
